JCC members, Nancy Chernett and Dan Sutton, will present An Introduction to Drawdown: Imagining Ourselves as Part of the Solution to Reversing Global Warming Monday, Feb 3 from 6:45 pm to 9pm, ROOM 10 here at The J.

Project Drawdown ( is a “world class research organization that reviews, analyses, and maps out the most viable global climate solutions and shares these solutions with the world. Drawdown partners with communities, policy-makers, non-profits, businesses, investors, and philanthropists to deploy science-based, effective climate solutions — as quickly, safely, and equitably as possible.” To date, Drawdown has identified, costed and ranked 100 currently available solutions to reduce greenhouse gases by avoiding emissions or by sequestering carbon dioxide already in the atmosphere.”

Come learn how Project Drawdown is shifting the global conversation from “doom and gloom” to one of possibility, opportunity, action, and empowerment. The program provides participants an encouraging place to stand, and a clear idea on what actions they can take to contribute to reversing global warming.
