Did you know that Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program is one of the best vehicles for your clients to simultaneously achieve their philanthropic goals while supporting Jewish education? Did you know that EITC allows your clients to simply re-direct their PA taxes, that they would already pay, towards Jewish education? Did you know that EITC is available to both businesses and individuals?

Speakers:
Stanley A. Goldis, CPA, CGMA, Partner, Citrin Cooperman
Scott Barsky, CPA, Retired Partner, RSM US LLP; Jewish Scholarship LLC, Board Member
Elliot Holtz, Chair, Foundation for Jewish Day Schools; Jewish Scholarship LLC, Board Member

Join us on Monday, May 11th, 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. to learn more about EITC and why it is a great option for your clients who are interested in supporting Jewish education. We will also review changes to the tax law and proposed IRS regulations. Lunch will be provided.

Through the Foundation for Jewish Day Schools and the EITC program, your clients can direct their tax dollars to support scholarships for any one of the 10 Jewish day schools, over 25 synagogue and independent pre-school programs, or the special-needs program in our community. They may also choose to direct their dollars to an undesignated fund, which is used to provide scholarships where the need is greatest. In addition, if credits are available, donors may choose to support enhanced curriculum education for public school students provided by JCRC’s Youth Symposium on the Holocaust, National Museum of American Jewish History, Philadelphia Holocaust Remembrance Foundation and JEVS Human Services.

This past year, more than 1,200 students attending our local Jewish pre- and day schools benefitted from over $8.5 million in tuition aid. Further, over 2,000 public school students were able to participate in the enhanced curriculum programs noted above.

Don’t miss this opportunity to earn CPE and CLE credits while staying up to date on this important way your clients can support Jewish education in Greater Philadelphia.
