Ta'Amod: Stand Up

The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia is proud to welcome Ta’amod: Stand Up!, a national multi-pronged initiative committed to fostering cultures of safety, respect, and equity for Jewish communal institutions and all who work, learn, or worship at them. Fueled by the #MeToo movement, Ta’amod is making revolutionary shifts in work culture by utilizing Jewish values and ethics to provide holistic trainings, consultations and resources. With an acute understanding of the unique dynamics and needs of the Jewish communal space, Ta’amod’s approach addresses culture from a proactive rather than reactive perspective. A program funded by the Jewish Federation’s Women of Vision, the series of trainings for Jewish communal professionals and lay leaders are free of charge.

WORKSHOPS

As we navigate these challenging times, creating and maintaining respectful cultures for our workplaces and communal spaces is imperative to our resilience as individual professionals and Jewish organizations. In our collective effort to build a healthy and safe Jewish workplace, we welcome Jewish organizations, institutions and congregations to join us for one or more of the following Ta’amod trainings. These workshops will provide a deep understanding of psychological safety in the workplace, explore universal themes around respect and equity through a lens of Jewish wisdom, and offer tangible tools to bring back to our organizations.

Please note that these are two-day workshops and you must attend both sessions for each option. To maximize the impact of training engagement for your organization, it is recommended that all staff attend. If you would like to be contacted to register your entire staff, please email Ta’amod’s Communications Manager Emet Ezell at emet@jewishwomen.org.
