Main Event Frequently Asked Questions

How much does the event cost?

The Main Event is $250 per person. NextGen attendees (ages 21-45) can register for $125 per person.

Where is it located?

The Kimmel Center is located 300 S. Broad Street, Philadelphia PA 19102.

What is the attire?

Dressy casual (no jeans, please).

What time does the Main Event start?

NextGen attendees, Joshua Society members and Men’s Mission alumni may attend private receptions from 5:30-6:30 p.m. The cocktails and hors d’oeuvres reception for Main Event guests will also begin at 5:30 p.m. Doors for the program will open at 7:15 p.m.. A dessert reception will follow the program.

Do you have to be Jewish to attend?

This is a community event and all community members are welcome.

Will I receive a ticket for this event?

No. While you are asked to pre-register, you will not receive any tickets ahead of time. On the night of the event, you will simply check in at registration.

Can I come to the Main Event if I didn’t register?

A limited number of walk-in guests may be welcome the night of the event, based upon availability.

Will the Main Event food be Kosher?

Yes, all of the cocktails, sumptuous food stations and dessert will be Glatt kosher under the supervision of Rabbi Isaac Friedlander of Lakewood, New Jersey.

What are my options for parking?

There are several options for parking in garages and lots nearby:

 

Parkway Lot – 15th and Spruce streets
Symphony House Lot – 440 S. Broad Street
ABM Parking – 337 S. Broad Street at Pine Street – University of the Arts
Doubletree Hotel Lot – Broad and Locust streets
ABM Parking – 1314 Spruce Street

Are children allowed?

Main Event guests must be 21 or over.

Do I need to make a minimum gift to attend?

No minimum gift is required to be part of the evening.
