The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia strongly condemns hate speech in our community and throughout the world. When anti-Semitic hate speech was expressed by Temple University Professor Marc Lamont Hill, we immediately took action with national and local partners. We have and will continue to condemn comments that reject the state of Israel and the Jewish connection to our homeland.

I’ve heard that Super Sunday is “going mobile.” What does that mean?

It means we’ll each be making calls from our very own cell phones, so please be sure to bring your mobile phone and charger with you. We will show you on-site how to block your phone number while making calls. We’ll also have a few extra phone chargers on hand.

What if I can’t bring my own cell phone?

We will have a limited number of cell and traditional phones for anyone who can’t bring or use their own phone.

What about my Data usage?

All locations will have free WiFi available except Fort Washington, where landline phones will be provided.

What if I can’t stay for the full shift?

No problem. Register for the time that works best for you and stay as long as you are able.

Will there be child care?

Yes, there will be children’s programming at our Center City location from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and at our Bala Cynwyd location from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Can I volunteer if I’m not comfortable making calls?

Absolutely! You are welcome to write letters to donors instead of making calls.

What if I’m not able to pre-register for Super Sunday?

Walk-ins are welcome at every location.

Is there transportation available?

We encourage you to carpool. If you don’t feel like driving, we have an option for you. Use this Lyft promo code for $10 off your ride to your location: SUPERSUNDAY2019

Where should I park at each location?

Shir Ami: Parking lot in back of building

Convergent Technologies, Inc. (located in Allstate building): Parking available in the front, back and side of building (please enter the building from the front)

Jewish Community Services Building: Street parking and several nearby parking lots.

SofterWare: Parking lot in front of building

The Barbara and Harvey Brodsky Enrichment Center of JFCS: Street parking

Can I bring a group?

Yes, groups are welcome! There are a few transit options available to help offset travel costs. Please contact eandrews@jewishphilly.org for more information.

How will I know what to do? Is there training?

Yes. Training will be provided; staff members will also be available to provide one-on-one assistance throughout your shift.
