The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia strongly condemns hate speech in our community and throughout the world. When anti-Semitic hate speech was expressed by Temple University Professor Marc Lamont Hill, we immediately took action with national and local partners. We have and will continue to condemn comments that reject the state of Israel and the Jewish connection to our homeland.

Join the Kehillah of Bux-Mont and the Kehillah of Chester County for the Kallah: Night of Jewish Learning, as we spend the evening celebrating Israel though Sights, Sounds and Tastes. Keynote speaker will be the Honorable Dani Dayan, Consul General of Israel to our region. A brief Q & A will follow his presentation.

​The evening continues with a wide variety of learning sessions led by local rabbis, cantors, and scholars. The conclusion of the event will be a “Taste of Israel” reception with food, wine and music, and opportunities to socialize with old friends and new.

6:45 – Registration
7:10 – Havdallah and welcome
7:25 – Keynote: Consul General Dani Dayan (with a Q & A)
8:25 – Sessions with the rabbis, cantors and scholars
9:25 – Special reception with Israeli Tastes by A La Karte catering, wine tasting by Jay Caplan and Sounds of Israel by Cantor Stephen Freedman.
