Nonprofit, not faith based, organization providing material support to individuals and families dealing with crisis, poverty, homelessness, and serious illness throughout the Philadelphia Region
Hands-on programming and educational opportunities for schools, corporate groups and others to engage in meaningful service projects. Participants learn about the impact of poverty on individuals, families and on society as a whole to give perspective and meaning to their involvement in service.
Engages undergraduate and graduate college students in serving those who are neediest in their communities. Accepts ten students each semester, including summer. Interns major in many areas of study including Social Work, Nonprofit Administration, Business Administration, Psychology and other fields.
