As we approach the one-year anniversary of the Oct. 7 massacre in Israel, the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia is seeking Jewish institutional sponsors and supporters to help bring the Jewish community and allies together for a commemorative program to remember the innocent victims who were murdered, stolen and irrevocably changed at the hands of terrorism.

On Sunday, Oct. 27 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Har Zion Temple, the Jewish Federation will host a large commemorative program that will garner hundreds in the community to come together and which will include singing, prayer, art, high profile speakers and more.

As a sponsor or supporter, your institution’s name will be promoted through various communication platforms of this powerful event.

In turn, the Jewish Federation asks Jewish institution sponsors and supporters to:

  • Post about the event two times on your social media platforms. Please tag @jewishphilly when posting
  • Send two emails to your community (this can be part of a newsletter). Please include community@jewishphilly.org on your email list
  • Have 1-2 people from your Jewish institution attend the event

We hope that you will consider sponsoring this event. Sponsorship dollars will offset event costs associated with the Oct. 7 commemorative program.
