An international organization of more than 17,500 inspiring women who set an exemplary standard of leadership and giving. Each Lion makes an annual donation to the Jewish Federation that reflects her capacity to give. The minimum annual commitment is $5,000. Click here to learn more.
The pomegranate, an ancient Jewish symbol, is also a modern emblem of Jewish women’s philanthropy and commitment. Women who give at least $1,800 a year to the Jewish Federation form a community of like-minded donors who do a world of good.
A community of philanthropists who demonstrate the loyalty, charisma and skillful leadership of this group’s namesake. These families and individuals contribute $10,000 or more per household to the Jewish Federation’s annual campaign. Joshua Society members are invited to exclusive local events and national gatherings.
The Jewish Federation’s leading donors, who contribute at least $100,000 to the Annual Campaign. They set inspiring standards in philanthropic giving and share a passionate concern for issues that affect the worldwide Jewish community.
Honors individuals and families endowing gifts of any size up to $99,999 through bequests, charitable gift annuities and planned gifts.
Honors over 3,000 members for their 25 years or more of contributions to Jewish Federation’s Annual Campaign. Members enjoy an annual Gala celebration.
Honors individuals and families endowing gifts of $100,000 or more through all types of vehicles. Members may designate their gifts for general or special purposes. Members enjoy an annual celebration. Within the Society, members are recognized within different giving levels:
- Lions’ Gate for commitments of $100,000+
- Tzedek for commitments of $10 million+
- Koach for commitments of $5 million+
- Golden Gate for commitments of $1 million+
- Zion Gate for commitments of $500,000+
- Jaffa Gate for commitments of $250,000+
