The Jewish Federation offers many opportunities for philanthropists to take part in distinctive events along with peers in our local community and across the continent who share their passion for doing good.

Here are some ways to join your Jewish Federation in improving Jewish life here at home, in Israel and around the globe. Your family giving may already qualify you to enjoy the benefits of these societies.

Ben Gurion Society – $1,000

A prestigious group of dynamic young leaders (22-45) from across the continent who make an impact on the world through their giving. A gift of $1,000 or more provides access to local and national Ben-Gurion Society events.  Find out more.

Levin Society – $2,500

A passionate group of young leaders (ages 21-45) who are ready to ensure a Jewish future for our local and global communities. An annual gift of $2,500 or more provides access to high-level networking opportunities and events. Find out more.

Pomegranate – $1,800

The pomegranate, an ancient Jewish symbol, is also a modern emblem of Jewish women’s philanthropy and commitment. Women who give at least $1,800 a year to the Jewish Federation form a community of like-minded donors who do a world of good.

Lion of Judah – $5,000

An international organization of more than 17,500 inspiring women who set an exemplary standard of leadership and giving. Each Lion makes an annual donation to the Jewish Federation that reflects her capacity to give. The minimum annual commitment is $5,000. Find out more about Lion activities.

Joshua Society – $10,000

A community of philanthropists who demonstrate the loyalty, charisma and skillful leadership of this group’s namesake.  These families and individuals contribute $10,000 or more per household to the Jewish Federation’s annual campaign. Joshua Society members are invited to exclusive local events and national gatherings.

Prime Minister’s Council – $100,000

The Jewish Federation’s leading donors, who contribute at least $100,000 to the Annual Campaign. They set inspiring standards in philanthropic giving and share a passionate concern for issues that affect the worldwide Jewish community.

The Legacy Society – $100,000

These outstanding philanthropists, who have endowed a gift of $100,000 or more, are honored at an annual event. You can become a Legacy Society member in many different ways, most offering financial and tax benefits to you, while ensuring the continuity and vitality of our Jewish communities.

Tikkun Olam Society

Every member of our community who leaves a gift to the Jewish Federation in their estate plan, up to $100,000, is recognized as a member of the Tikkun Olam Society. Its members are thanked every year at the Circle of Partners event, where several members are selected as honorees.

These generous philanthropists have supported Jewish Federation’s Jewish Community Fund, its predecessor campaigns or the campaigns of other Jewish Federations for 25 years or more.
