When you travel with us, it is more than a trip. it’s a transformative experience.

About Missions

Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia’s mission trips allow participants to connect with the Jewish community in Israel and around the world through meaningful travel opportunities. Each mission has a unique sense of purpose, deepening connections to Jewish identity while offering unique cultural experiences, where you can explore your roots, make new friendships and enjoy premier access that only the Jewish Federation can arrange.

Missions trips highlight programs that are impacted by the dollars raised and allocated through the Jewish Federation’s various campaigns.

Expert-Led Experiences

During Jewish Federation mission trips, you will connect with local experts and receive once-in-a-lifetime experiences. Receive geopolitical briefings from top dignitaries in Israel, march in Poland with thousands saying “Never Again,” salsa dance with the Jewish community of Cuba, toast l’chaim in Berlin, taste the Mizrahi flavor of Morocco, and experience Shabbat in ways you’ll never forget.

On a mission, our team of experienced and dedicated mission staff plans the itinerary, logistics, accommodations and more. You will travel with Greater Philadelphia Jewish Federation professionals and receive on-the-ground support from local guides and experts, drivers, coordinators and security.
