As Sukkot comes to an end, we reach a period of great celebration. This week, on Shemini Atzeret and Simchat Torah, we complete the annual reading of the Torah and prepare to start again from the beginning.

We wish you much joy and a fresh start as we ease into the new year.

Today is a day of hope and, we pray, the beginning of healing for the hostages, their families and all of Israel.

The Jewish Federation celebrates this long-awaited moment as the 20 surviving hostages come home to their loved ones.
