Liability Waiver Form
I hereby RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE, AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia (“Jewish Federation”), the Board of Trustees, their officers, servants, agents, and employees (hereinafter referred to as “RELEASEES”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me, or to any property belonging to me, while attending JFRE at the Chubb Center (“Event”) on June 25, 2025 at the Construction Site located at 2000 Arch Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103, or while on or upon the premises where the Event is being conducted.
I acknowledge that I am aware of and understand the risks and hazards connected with the participation in this Event, including physical injury or even death, and hereby elect to voluntarily participate in said Event, knowing that there are ongoing construction activities at the Construction Site which may be hazardous to me and my property. I VOLUNTARILY ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY RISKS OR LOSS, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR PERSONAL INJURY, INCLUDING DEATH, that may be sustained by me, or loss or damage to property owned by me, as a result of my participation in this Event.
I agree that if any portion of this document is deemed invalid or unenforceable by any court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity or unenforceability will not affect the whole Waiver of Liability and Release, but such Waiver of Liability and Release will be construed as if not containing the particular provision held to be invalid or unenforceable.
It is my expressed intent that this release and hold harmless agreement shall bind the members of my family and spouse, if I am alive, and my heirs, assigns and personal representative, if I am deceased, and shall be deemed as a RELEASE, WAIVER, DISCHARGE, and CONVENTION TO SUE the above named RELEASEES. I hereby further agree that this Waiver of Liability and Hold Harmless Agreement shall be constructed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
By agreeing to this release, I acknowledge and represent that I HAVE READ THE FOREGOING Waiver of Liability, Hold Harmless Agreement and UNDERSTAND IT AND AGREE TO IT VOLUNTARILY as my free act and deed; no oral representations, statements or inducements, apart from the foregoing written agreements have been made; and BY AGREEING TO THIS RELEASE I AM EXECUTING THIS RELEASE FOR FULL, ADEQUATE AND COMPLETE CONSIDERATION FULLY INTENDING TO BE BOUND BY SAME.
