Leaders from the Jewish community depart from Plymouth Meeting, PA, for the State Capitol in Harrisburg, PA, to meet with state leaders and raise awareness about issues of concern within the community, including antisemitism, hate crimes, violence prevention, religious rights, non-profit security grants, reproductive health, and more.
Hosted by the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia’s Jewish Community Relations Council, NextGen, Women of Vision and Women’s Philanthropy groups along with the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and American Jewish Committee (AJC), the group will attend informative sessions with high-level representatives across the political aisle and lobbying visits with key legislators.
Among the Jewish community leaders attending include Robin Schatz, Director of Government Affairs, JCRC; Shara Swift, Director of Women of Vision and Campaign Pipeline; and Lindsay Davidman, Director, Women’s Philanthropy; Andrew Goretsky, Regional Director, ADL; and Marcia Bronstein regional director, AJC.
