The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia launched the Sharon and Joseph Kestenbaum Legacy Philanthropy Program in 2019 to create a network for the next generation of Jewish philanthropic leaders. Through generous funding from the Kestenbaum family, this cohort-based program will provide the learning, insights and tools to inspire you to competently and confidently address the issues that are important to you and your family, both locally and globally.

The Legacy Philanthropy Program is designed to help you explore your own reasons for giving and the impact you would like to make with your philanthropy. Each cohort is made up of participants from families with significant philanthropic legacies that bring a diversity of Jewish experiences, affiliations and charitable engagements to the sessions.

Led by skilled facilitators, a nationally recognized Jewish educator, and expert speakers from around the philanthropic world, you will have the opportunity to examine the positive change you can create through philanthropy in the Jewish community and beyond. As part of a group, you will participate in guided conversations that focus on values, family legacy, identity and charitable vision.

This program is invite only. For more information, please contact Sarah Solomon at ssolomon@jewishphilly.org or 215.832.0894; or Joel Schwarz at jschwarz@jewishphilly.org or 215.832.0544
