On behalf of the Jewish Community of Greater Philadelphia, we extend our deepest condolences following the attack on the State of Israel by Hamas terrorists. As Jews, we share a deep bond with the State of Israel. No matter where acts of terrorism, aggression and destruction occur, we, as a people, Am Israel, share that pain. We mourn the loss of those killed, hope for the release of those who have been taken hostage, and pray for the healing of those wounded and their families. Our hearts go out to the people of Israel who face an unprecedented assault on their safety and well-being.
We stand in solidarity with the people of Israel and express our unwavering support for their right to defend themselves against these heinous attacks. We support the people of Israel and extend our gratitude to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and emergency responders for their efforts to protect Israeli citizens and restore security to the region. We pray for a swift resolution to this crisis and a full restoration of security in the State of Israel.
As a community, we raise our voices to express our grief and outrage. The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia and all of our partners send our wishes that the people of Israel find strength and comfort during this difficult time. We hope for peace and the safety and security of the land of Israel and all we love there.
