“Bud Newman is many things — a highly successful business owner, a farmer, a leader and a philanthropist.

The 76-year-old Upper Makefield man has spent his life trying to improve the lives of others.

On Wednesday, Newman was recognized by the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia and the Philadelphia City Council for his “selfless and endless willingness to help others and the community at-large,” states a city resolution honoring him.”
