About the Chef

Chef Yehuda Sichel has more than two decades of experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry. His restaurant, Huda, earned “Best Sandwich” in Philadelphia Magazine’s 2021 Best of Philly issue, made the magazine’s “Top 50 Best Restaurants,” has been regularly featured in Eater Philly’s “Essential 38 restaurants,” and was heralded in Food & Wine’s “Best Lunch Spots in Philadelphia.”
Sichel’s previous restaurant, Abe Fisher, a collaboration with the well known James Beard Foundation Award recipients Steven Cook and Chef Michael Solomonov, was named “Best New Restaurant” by Travel + Leisure, and Zagat named Sichel on their list of “30 Under 30 Rock Stars Redefining the Industry.” He also famously went on Food Network’s Beat Bobby Flay and defeated the chef in a head-to-head matchup, making his matzoh ball soup for the judges.
