Join the Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) for a fireside chat with Israeli educator and facilitator Yirmiyahu Danzig and Philadelphia community leader Pastor Carl Day, moderated by JCRC Chief Jason Holtzman.

The conversation will explore the history of Black–Jewish relations, the moments of strong alliance, and the challenges that have strained those ties over time. Drawing on their lived experiences and community leadership, the panel will examine empathy, identity, and the responsibilities of leadership in a complex moment, including the trust-building and bridge-building work needed to rebuild and sustain this vital alliance.

The discussion reflects the mission of the New Golden Age Coalition, co-founded by Day and Holtzman, which is dedicated to renewing Black–Jewish relationships through sustained dialogue, honesty and shared action.

RSVP by Wednesday, Feb. 11. Advance registration is required.
