For 125 years, the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia has strengthened Jewish life, cared for people in need and helped build a vibrant Jewish community across Greater Philadelphia.
To mark this milestone anniversary, we’re inviting community members of all ages to participate in 125 Mitzvot for 125 Years, a community-wide initiative inspired by the Jewish value of giving back. Whether through an act of kindness, a volunteer project or support for a neighbor, every mitzvah helps make our community stronger.
We’ve curated 125 mitzvot and mitzvah-inspired activities that offer meaningful ways to get involved throughout the year. Opportunities range from simple acts you can do at home to hands-on volunteer experiences with Jewish Federation partner organizations and local synagogues.
