The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia strongly condemns hate speech in our community and throughout the world. When anti-Semitic hate speech was expressed by Temple University Professor Marc Lamont Hill, we immediately took action with national and local partners. We have and will continue to condemn comments that reject the state of Israel and the Jewish connection to our homeland.

Israeli Shlicha Bat El Trablesi
Bring a taste of Israel to your organization or neighborhood with the help of our community shlicha, Bat El Trabelsi.

Bat El is an emissary from Israel who serves as a resource to our community, available to individuals, educators and organizations. The shlicha is available to provide Israel-focused programs, workshops and talks, as well as brainstorming sessions on how to increase Israel and community engagement.

Bat El was born and raised in Israel and has lived in Kfar Saba, Einav, Zefat, Kiryat Shmona, Tel Aviv and Kibbutz Hannaton. As a commander in the Israel Defense Forces, she served in a border intelligence unit. She received her B.A. in Psychology and Human Resources from Tel Hai Academic College. Bat El worked as a Partnership2Gether Living Bridge Coordinator for the Jewish Agency for five years. For the last three years Bat El was an educator in a pre-army leadership program at Hannaton, where she also coordinated the local Noam youth chapter.
