Women of Vision, Philadelphia’s Jewish Women’s Foundation, impacts the lives of self-identifying Jewish women and girls across generations and geographic boundaries through strategic grantmaking, advocacy and educational programs leading to social change and social justice.
The Women of Vision Fund is an endowment fund which alternates annually between awarding grants to organizations in Greater Philadelphia and in Israel.
Organizations that impact the Greater Philadelphia community with a national footprint or headquarters outside our area are eligible to apply. The committee generally awards grants for a two-year period, with some exceptions. You can see past funded projects by clicking here.
Funding focus Areas
Women of Vision will be considering proposals from Israeli organizations on an invite-only basis for funding in FY26 and FY27. The committee will consider grants based on the following priority areas.
Recognizing the physical and mental health of women and girls as a human right and requirement to obtain full economic, religious, social and political achievement (e.g., domestic violence/victimization, gun violence, sex trafficking, health and wellness).
Increasing economic justice, financial stability and self-sufficiency for women and creating more fair and equal workplaces (e.g., economic empowerment, professional development, self-sufficiency, legal reform).
Encouraging new and existing leaders among women and girls in ways that help them use their power and skills to affect social change, strengthen the Jewish community, gain personal empowerment, and support aspiring female leaders (e.g., self-image, education or life skills, leadership development).
