Trip insurance is strongly suggested. Please consider purchasing coverage in the event that the mission is canceled for unforeseen reasons. The Jewish Federation would only cancel the mission in the event of extraordinary circumstances.

Due to the heavily programmed itinerary for this trip, we highly recommend extending your time on the ground in Israel before or after the mission in order to connect with friends/family there. We are happy to help you do so.

Although September marks the beginning of the fall season in Israel, you can still look forward to sunny days and hot temperatures. Average highs range from 85ºF (28ºC) in Tel Aviv, and even lows in Jerusalem rarely go below 65ºF (19ºC).

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Erica N. Miller, Missions Manager, at erica.miller@jewishphilly.org or 215.832.0629.
