Award-winning photographer Debbie Zimelman will take us behind the scenes of her 10-year journey interviewing and photographing women IDF soldiers. Her book “Women on the Front Lines” is the only photography collection dedicated to these soldiers’ experiences, offering an intimate look at their fears, challenges and triumphs.

Debbie Zimelman is an award-winning photographer based in Israel. Passionate about capturing people and uncovering new perspectives through her lens, her mission is to use photography to share her vision and tell compelling stories.

Zimelman is renowned for documenting the lives of Israeli women. Her work has been published and exhibited worldwide, and she has won numerous international accolades and prizes. Her project “Women in Prison” is the first in-depth photographic study of inmates at Neve Tirzah, Israel’s only women’s prison.

Her book “Women on the Front Lines” has gained widespread attention in Israel and abroad. The only book to visually document the experiences of Israeli female combat soldiers, “Women on the Front Lines” offers an intimate look at the growing number of women volunteering for IDF combat roles.

Zimelman has presented more than 40 book discussions worldwide, speaking in the U.S., Canada, Japan, Hong Kong and beyond.
